I have spent the past 12 months trying to get answers from The Professional Advocate located in St. Petersburg FL. To say that this has been frustrating would be a gross understatement. After paying them $580.00 in "up front fees" for their "self-help" package I have no success in getting any straight answers to my inquiries. In fact, I have called them a total of 47 times over the past year and have received a grand total of 4 return calls. I suspect that my calls are being "screened" to avoid speaking to me directly. Without exception, I get a recorded message telling me "how important my call is to them" and insuring me that they will call me back. It just doesn't happen. The times they did happen to answer my call, I was told that "they would have to call corporate" and they said that they would get back to me in 15 minutes. What a surprise...still waiting!! On 7/14/2015 the representative finally gave me a number for "Bob" in corporate. I called him and got the same recording with a promise to call me back as soon as possible. He did call back and accused me of being less that a gentleman" I guess because I wanted some answers. In summary, I have NEVER received any refund ( I was assured last September that I could expect that refund very soon and as soon as 30 days following my mailing of the paperwork The Professional Advocate had sent me). This is just another RIP-OFF relating to the timeshare industry. My advice...DON'T SEND THEM A DIME unless you have money you want to throw away.
