Is advertised price pretty close to what you end up paying? (by Lance C.):

Or do there end up being fees, taxes, etc that drive the price up quite a bit? For example if a week long rental unit is listed as $1500 are you going to pay close to that or closer to $2000? I would like to get some idea of final cost before I pay membership fee.

I would ask the owner. Sometimes, it depends on the resort. Some resorts (such as in the Cayman Islands) charge a daily electric fee. So I would confirm with the owner from whom you are renting. Some owners will advertise the final price while some will not include any other applicable taxes or fees in the advertised price.
