Sumday Vacations - BE WARNED!!! (by Tracey S.):

I could be wrong about my understanding of Sumday Vacations relationship to the Post Card Company that suckered your mother in law out of her money. My understanding is that Sumday Vacations will advertise inventory that various timeshare disposal companies provide for a fee. They will advertise some for a the lower thousands and others go into their bargain basement where for $29 or less you can buy the timeshare that comes with closing and transfer fees paid and in some cases gets you one or more years of paid MF's. Their relationship with the timeshare solutions or disposal or whatever they call themselves is similar to that of Walmart and the sweatshops in China and other countries. Walmart does business with those companies but they don't employ the workers or set the conditions.

Sumday Vacations is a legitimate way to buy timeshares at a low price. The Disposal companies may use their relationship (vendor type) with Sumday to try to legitimize what they do. Unlike some companies that will transfer a timeshare to a person who doesn't exist or an LLC that will be bankrupted that isn't Sumday's business model. They try to find legitimate people willing to take over the timeshares. It is unfortunate that their business model does involve doing business with timeshare disposal companies but like Walmart or most US companies doing business with those types of entities is what allows them to offer timeshares for a low price.

I agree with you that no one should go to these type of "rid yourself of you annual fees" type of presentations. No one should be lied to and pressured to contract to get rid of their timeshare. No one should pay a large fee to get out of their timeshare. Sumday Vacations provides advertising and support to transfer a timeshare from one owner from another. If your contract indicates that you were paying Sumday to buy or accept your timeshare ownership as their own then you should sue for breach of contract. If you contracted with another company that you believe is related to Sumday, you should sue that company and if it turns out that they are the same company then Sumday will also suffer.

And no I am not a Shill for Sumday and as I said my opinion about the relationship with company that you really should be blaming and calling out is unknown to me.
