Re: Anyone have experience with Castle Law Group, PC out of Tennessee (by Don P.):
No need to contact by email. I contacted my home resort. I made sure I talked to the person who handles the titles. I stated that I was going to get rid of my timeshare with or without their assistance. I explained that it was in their best interest to work with me. I let them know that I didn't care if the next owner stopped paying maintenance fees....that was their problem once I transferred it out of my name.
Apparently they realized through my tone and persistence that I was serious. They agreed to take it back through a " deed back " . I only had to pay a minimal fee for filing and it only took a few weeks to process. I had to be current in my fees and assessments . Some resorts require you to pay the next years maintenance fees to give them time to find a new owner but that is a small price to pay to rid yourself of a life time of fees and assessments.
You need to be firm but not demanding. Make sure you inform them that it's in their best interest to work with you. Don't be afraid to do something on your own. I made it my priority to get rid of the two timeshares in 2011 and now my bank account is very healthy not paying for a lifetime of ever increasing fees and assessments. If you follow through please come back in the forum and let us know how it worked out for you.
