Just got free consultation here in Texas on getting rid of timeshare. The consultant said if we hire them, Castle Law Group in TN will handle our case. Since we wanted to get rid of our timeshare for so long we signed up the agreement between us and Castle Group. After a week from consultation we decided to back out after we got a bill of $6,000.00 or $299.00 monthly. We were refer to one phone number to another until we got back to the phone number of the consultant only to hear that we cannot back out. And the consultant is the only one who can cancel our agreement. He said to us over the phone that we cannot cancel the agreement since we signed up already that Castle Law Group in TN will handle our case even we haven't submitted to them any of our timeshare papers, not even one page of it yet. But the consultant said to us that they have our information thru the driver's license, SSN and that they will sue us if we break the agreement and that would cost us a lot of money to hire a lawyer. But even though if we hire a lawyer to cancel this agreement, the payment of $6,000.00 will not be cancelled because they already paid the lawyer to handle our case even we haven't submitted our papers yet. We asked why would you fund a lawyer when we haven't submitted any of our papers, the consultant said, because you already signed the agreement. Please, anybody, enlightened me of this issue....
