I am at Wyndham Grand Chicago, a fabulous location on the riverfront , atttended an update. They tried to get me to upgrade to Access program for another $12 k or so. I said no thanks. I checked eBay and see people dumping even access points.
The sales guy said my 154000 points are worth $38k now if I had the right 'program' or if my deed was in a good location such as NY!
His ovation training received from corporate indicated it was only for financial distress and on a case by case basis.
If you were able to get rid of it, that is great.
