You have to make your own decision. Having said that, the MC sends out bills far in advance, so your bill is probably not due until Jan1, and even then you probably have a grace period. Next, $2600 is $371/night. It's no bargain, but not bad for a suite in Manhattan. So do you like the MC? Probably not right now. But if you would like the MC under new management, possibly with more reasonable fees, consider paying it at the last minute. But for now, just wait and see what develops. These maintenance fees were developed by the old regime. The settlement does not overturn contract law and we each signed on to pay maintenance fees. I suspect the "new" maintenance fees will be lower once a new management company is in place and fewer owners default on their annual obligations.
