Re: Manhattan Club Lawsuit (by Becky F):

William, you continue to verbally bully those of us who have stopped paying maintenance fees into doing so because you obviously think that it will somehow help those of you have paid all along. What's important, and obvious to those of us who finally realize that we will never see our timeshare again as we knew it, is that the settlement only covers the years 2011-2014 and during those years my maintenance fess were paid in full so I "may" benefit from some settlement funds, which at this point I doubt. What I refuse to do is pay another hard earned penny to the Eichner's for the past year that I have not paid. How foolish and ridiculous to even try to justify paying another penny to these crooks! And quite honestly, I could care less if they try to ruin my credit however I get the distinct feeling you would love for that to happen to those of us who haven't paid. I'll never see my $59,000 "investment" again, which is what I paid for the "Penthouse Suite" which looked like a cheap hotel room the last time I stayed there. It was dirty, the furniture was shabby and broken down, the carpet was filthy, and I had to practically beg for towels and sheets. I have personally written off this "investment" as a total loss. So, with that said, I have moved on and I've learned a very valuable lesson to NEVER buy a timeshare again.
