I would advise you to contact your resort and negotiate directly with them yourself . Hopefully you can convince them that it is their best interest to work out an agreement with you to give it back . You will probably have to pay them some sort of settlement but at least you are dealing directly with them and not a scammer . Don't hesitate contact them directly and see if you can work something out .
