Unfortunately, only the written content of a contract means anything at all. Verbal representations made by deceitful sales weasels are just meaningless noise floating temporarily around in the air before just fading away forever. Even the contract itself likely very clearly states somewhere in writing that any and all verbal representations that are not also specifically reflected within the contract are not legally binding in any way. The sales weasels know and understand this perfectly well, so they feel completely free to lie and exaggerate and misrepresent the truth however they choose. I don't know how those lying parasites even manage to sleep at night, but clearly they do.
Class action lawsuits are neither easy nor inexpensive to initiate or file or pursue; don't expect one to just somehow magically arise to specifically address King's Creek Plantation. You would be lucky to find an attorney even willing to touch this matter at all, since it's likely a relatively small pool of potential plaintiffs --- to engage in a long and drawn out affair with the ultimate outcome entirely uncertain. I'm sure that is not at all what you want to hear, but it is the unvarnished factual truth just the same.
Westgate and Wyndham sales weasels are the undisputed "champions" of developer salesperson deceit in the USA (the sales weasels in Mexico are the undisputed WORLD champions). I personally have no idea if King's Creek Plantation is associated with either one of those two "reigning U.S. champions".
