I doubt there is anything anyone can do to recover money from these parasites . Colonial consultants is probably the same low lives operating under a different name . Unfortunately this industry is ripe with scammers because there is virtually no resale market for timeshares . The developers spend millions of dollars buying legislation to protect their investments and all we have are forums to discuss or grievances .
The best defense we have is our voices . We have to tell as many people as we can about the dark side of the timeshare business .
Not all timeshares are bad . There are a few rare gems out there . I found one in Las Vegas that I will never give up . I go there every year or let my family members or friends use it if I don't go . It's independently owned . The board of directors do a fantastic job running it and keeping the maintenance fees low . I only use my home resort and never exchange it .
Unfortunately corporate greed has taken over the industry and we have low lives out there taking advantage of owners who find themselves wanting to rid themselves of their timeshares . Don't give up and hopefully someone will have advice to help you out of your situation .
