I agree with all you have said, particularly the last two sentences. And as you say and I agree, people need to do what is best for them..I for one will wait for the settlement, sale of TMC, etc. and in the meantime enjoy the club. It was stated nothing ventured, nothing gained, so true and you never know, so I sincerely wish those who are going to continue to try, the very best of luck!

If they can't be bothered to look back a few pages on the Redweek blog to locate the attorney's email, there is a larger problem than the lack of navigability. Facebook won't help them as much as it helps an attorney looking to assemble a list of potential plaintiffs. Other folks just can't get enough of the MC saga and will happily be a (silent) part of any group discussion. IMHO, we also have a substantial number of readers/contributors here who are simply tired of the MC/New York experience or their ownership obligations, not uncommon for developments of a certain age, but very different from a legally actionable matter. Before I'm accused of shilling for the MC, let me say, I'm also sure that a good many owners were misled and lied to; the investigation and settlement made that clear; and many more owners were inconvenienced by the reservation issues. All this is true. But if there are 15,000+ owners and only 200 (roughly 1%) are sufficiently motivated to even register on the attorney's site (for all causes of dissatisfaction), I would say we've done well to have a settlement negotiated at all. Certain members of this group have "moved heaven and earth" to get the AG to invest their resources and to get this far. I am just very skeptical of the ability to move much further.
