I had no control. They just sent a letter saying Festiva had bought Escapes out. I had been trying to get rid of the timeshare for years. Escapes lied so much to me. They would buy it back. The maintenance fees wouldn’t go up. We could go to their newer resorts. Now we are retired on a fixed income. Can’t pay maintenance fees. Being harassed by them and collection agency. It’s a nightmare. I just want out !
