In Mexico you have 5 business days to cancel a deeded or right to use timeshare. If you bought a non timeshare type vacation club, I am not sure if the rescission rights apply but if it does apply then it would also be 5 business days. Calling whether during the rescission period or after won't help at all. If you are still within the rescission window you need to cancel in writing. You can contact Profecto (something like the mexican consumer protection agency), you can open a complaint and send them copies of the contract to see if they violated laws -like not including the rescission info in the contract if applicable and they may be able to help.
be careful about anyone who says they can help but want a large upfront fee in order to facilitate the help. They may pop up take your money and then disappear.
