Hi Mike, I took your suggestion and asked Vacation Crew for the entire amount upfront and they agreed. Not unusual, we always collect the full amount up front. My advisor looked at the contract and said it was fine. But here is where it gets strange. Vacation Crew, from Utah, sent me a barrage of emails to use my New Year's timeshare, then suddenly, after I signed the contract, they said their client cancelled. My advisor, also a Utah person, said that they still owe us the money, as the contract was with them, not their clients.

I know I can rent out the week easily, we always do, using Redweek. The members on the Timeshare groups know me, and will personally vouch for me and my weeks. But I can't say I would recommend Vacation Crew.
