That show perfectly why it is recommended that you read your rights of rescission in your owner's contract which must be legally provided for you and then follow the instructions carefully. The instructions usually tell you to sent your signed letter of rescission via certified mail as opposed to going into the office.

That aside, you did well to file a dispute with your credit card company. How it will turn out for you, IDK, but I hope you get a positive result.
