The constant mantra on Redweek's forums and all other timeshare forums on the internet is DO NOT PAY AN UPFRONT FEE IN THE HUNDREDS/THOUSANDS OF DOLLARS to a resale company to simply put your timeshare in a database that no one will ever see. ALL THEY WANT IS YOUR CREDIT CARD NUMBER AND THE UPFRONT FEE, PERIOD.
