other parts of your statement are also true: the hassle, possible additional fees, no guarantee of results, et al. "I would rather go that route than give in to TMC!" that's my stance as well. financial issues for some owners perhaps prevent them from putting forth more $$$ and want to get rid of their TMC obligations. i'm not at that juncture yet, but there's a limit for all possibilities.
