Sorry to hear that David. We too spent over $1200 with a verbal guarantee from a women named Jeannie who had no doubt she could sell our timeshare. AND, if it didn't sell within 10 months they would buy it at the current fair market price. Well here we are 10 months later it didn't sell and we got our offer of $13.00. The joke is it will cost over $400 in closing costs which we are responsible for so it will cost us to sell it. I really don't understand how these companies can get away with this. . . . .it's very disheartening. Plus the fact that we still have a timeshare that we have to continue to pay the maintenance fees on unless we give it away.
