Fair market appraisel- financial aid (by Sandi M.):

After many years of filling out FAFSA's without this being an issue, my daughter's college is trying to view my timeshare as traditional real estate and has changed by FAFSA. I actually had to send them an email from the tax assessors office in the town of the timeshare to prove that that we did not have a tax valudation. I need to prove fair market value for a prime fixed week at The Cove at Yarmouth, MA. I have done some online searches I doubt they will take that and I can not see that the sales (resales) are public record on the town hall site. I emailed the GM at the resort but am not sure where else to turn.
