Buying vs renting

Hello< hope this finds you well, I am interested in going to Aruba for two weeks each year for next several years. Why should I buy a time share instead of just renting one?

In a case such as yours, the advantage of owning versus renting is that you are guaranteed the weeks that you want each year. The other advantage is that, as an owner, you can vote and be on the board there. In other words, you have more of a say in what happens there than if you were a renter.

Only buy if you are going to the same resort every year .
