I want to rent a timeshare, but what about taxes?

Let's say I want to rent a disney villa for $975 on redweek, when in reality if I go to the disney website I have to pay a little over $2,000 for 5-7 nights. If i decide to buy at redweek , will i have to make up for it in taxes when i check out because it's an expensive hotel?

Are you asking if you will have a tax liability when you rent? As far as I understand you can rent any property you own for 2 weeks a year and are not obligated to pay taxes on the rental income. This is the only situation where taxes are not paid on rental income. Check with your tax attorney, but I think I am correct.

I am the owner of a week in Ocean Pointe, Palm Beach (Marriott Vacation Club), but I live outside the USA. If I rent my week and receive the money in an account as Paypal, how much money do i receive? Do some taxes apply after commission? Or the full price is deposited in my account?
