Buying, Renting, and Selling Timeshares

Would you pay an upfront fee to a real estate company to sell your home?

The above analogy is exactly why you should never pay an upfront to any company to sell your timeshare.

You would never pay an upfront fee to a real esate agent BEFORE they sold your home, so why would you do so with a timeshare ??

That's a *great* analogy jayjay! The problem is that these scammers have the upper hand given that you don't actually live in the house year-round. The most you go to your timeshare is probably one or two weeks a year. Add to the fact that many people who even come in contact with these scumbags (like myself) got suckered into buying one in the first place and now realize they have a huge burden and are desperate to unload it, it's very easy for someone to fall into that trap. :( Guilty. :'(
