Why No Alaska Timeshares?

Jun 06, 2007

I've been looking all over the web for Alaska resales or even rentals and couldn't find anything. What's the deal?

I have only seen one and that is with RCI. Check out their website.

Here is on on I.I.www.innatwhittier.com

I understand that the weather is so severe most of the year, it is difficult for a timeshare to survive,(lots of unusable weeks drives the price up )

Because, in Alaska, if you mess with one of those guys, they'll shoot you. hahahahaha

My DB and DSIL lived in Alaska. They loved it, extreme weather and all. (You have to carry your shoes in a bag in winter, because you're wearing your bunny boots to get there.)

But most of us are real softies, ones who don't like the true extremes of weather.
