Do not use this company to sell your timeshare. They are unresponsive, unacceptable, and downright rude. They list timeshares that they do not have access to and they do not work with you to resolve issues. They put up phoney barriers to the resolution of issues and knew nothing about my timeshare despite claiming at the outset that they were thoroughly familiar with it. They are oblivious to market factors and to customer service.

I paid them in May 2006, and have not heard anything in about a year, They NEVER return calls or e-mails. The last time I called them in late Sept 06 and was able to talk to some one I was told No News is Good News, if we don't call you things are good, and you should hear something soon. DO NOT USE THEM !!!!!

Never, ever pay an upfront fee to a company to sale your timeshare. It's a scam.

Is your week listed on their site?

If so, and it looks like the following studio Marveric week 45 for $10,000 no one will ever call...for a 100 years until the $10,000 is equal to the listed sales for the same place on e bay for one dollar:

http://www.resalesbuyowner.com/display.php?ad=RBO1026

You overpaid for a listing that means nothing. Who would go to THAT site to find a dollar week for $10,000? You are here already at Redweek. Now list the place at a price that will sell. Why should you keep paying maint & taxes as it sits and sits and does nothing. Also go to other sites that list units at prices that sell....try myresortnetwork.com. I think a lot of them on the tug site are also overpriced.

Just try listing here & see what happens. If it is a very good week in a very nice place, you will sell......price it to sell....

The more people like you contact the Florida Better Business Bureau and the Attorney General's office, the greater the chance that those scammers will be shut down (as they should be). I finally sold my timeshare and I provided them with evidence that another company sold it for me and they refused to refund my money despite promises to the contrary. They are so unethical.

1. The Better Business Bureau (not just in Florida, but anywhere and everywhere else as well) is useless, powerless and has no legal authority whatsoever. In my opinion, don't waste time or effort with an outfit that does nothing more than collect complaint statistics. Collecting statistics doesn't help or solve anything.

2. Many of the assorted upfront resale parasites claim they that will refund money in the event that the timeshare is sold elsewhere. Unfortunately, there is NO confirmed instance of ANY such parasite EVER having actually done so. They don't take money from people with any intention of returning any part of it --- that's not their business model.

3. In an ideal world, all of these these parasites would be required by law to provide a detailed contract document in advance, one clearly stating in plain English that they are nothing more than an obscure advertising agency, with little or no chance of actually selling a timeshare. To be honest, I'm not clear on how people come to believe otherwise, but it's truly a shame to see people voluntarily throw away hard earned money on absolutely ineffecitve advertising agencies, falsely masquerading as entities which have ANY chance on earth of actually selling a timeshare.

Can you tell me who you ended up going with to sell your time share with, and did you have to pay an up front fee? These people told me after I got on tug, that it is another resale by owner, when I told them I was pulling my money. glenda please contact me @ my email address yakesluv@sbcglobal.net

I would not recommend that company that ultimately sold the timeshare. They were equally unethical. As I was desperate to unload Pueblo BonitoEmerald Bay (an equally sleazy organization), I sold my top floor presidential suite, xmas week, for next to nothing. I am so glad to be done with it but I had it listed with the selling company for years and they did absolutely nothing. It just happens that an owner at Emerald Bay wanted to buy a place for his daughter and that is how it got sold---not by the efforts of the selling company.

I dont know why people are always bashing individual companys for taking money upfront and doiing nothing. All of those companies do the same damn thing. they take money to "sell" and do not. so NEVER give up your money for this.....NEVER
