Welcome to RedWeek.com's new discussion forums!

We are excited to offer you this new outlet for dynamic discussions about timeshare and travel topics!

Here's how it works: forums pertaining to general topics can be found on the main forums page at: http://www.redweek.com/forums. Each resort also has its own discussion forum, which you can find from the resort's page - just browse or search for it, and then click the "view discussion forum" link.

Anyone can read the forums without having a RedWeek.com account. To create a topic or post a reply, you just need to be registered with at least our free guest account.

Please don't use the forums to bypass other RedWeek.com services - ads aren't allowed. If you want to post your timeshare rental, resale, or exchange, please add a posting directly to the resort's page.

We hope you enjoy connecting with other travelers and timeshare owners! We're looking forward to hearing from you.

In May 2023, the Royal Resorts in Cancun, Mexico announced they had been bought by Holiday Inn. It was a surprise especially since recently they they started a Signature Club relationship with Wyndham. I can see this as an opportunity for Holiday Inn expending in Mexico into the timeshare industry and selecting a Resort group that has already established a high reputation for service and quality. I just hope they start expending opportunities with high end resorts around the world and not just expand for the purpose of expansion alone, and bring the quality down.

Your thought?

I am a brand new member and this is my first post, so I'm open to any advice from seasoned Timeshare owners. I'm wanting to sell 2 of my Hilton Grand Vacations timeshares: one at Ocean 22 in Myrtle Beach, a 3-bedroom Platinum deed, floating week AND the other at Chicago Magnificent Mile, a 1-bedroom Platinum deed, also floating week. Any advice is welcome. I'm considering using the full service from Red Week. Any experience in getting Timeshares sold as quickly as possible? Is it true that Hilton has right of first refusal and can tie up a sale for a month or more? Thank you. Dee

Right of first refusal doesn't mean that Hilton will "tie up a sale for a month or more". It just means that if you and a buyer agree to a sale price, Hilton must either buy it from you for that price or let the buyer buy it for that price. Either way, Hilton will let you know rather quickly and can not and will not block the sale.

The chance of selling is slim. There are 1000's of weeks for free and many at under 100$. Your best bet, legally cancel out. Stop throwing good money after bad,

I Lost Cryptocurrency to a Pig-Butchering Scam — Can Crypto Really Be Recovered?

I was contacted through WhatsApp/Telegram by someone who presented themselves as a professional crypto trader and mentor. Over time, they built trust and introduced me to what appeared to be a legitimate cryptocurrency investment platform.

Initially, the platform showed profits, which made everything seem real. However, when I attempted to withdraw my funds, I was asked to pay additional charges such as withdrawal fees, taxes, or account verification costs. New demands followed each payment.

Eventually, I realized the platform was fake, and the individual disappeared completely. I had sent USDT/BTC/ETH directly from my personal wallet to the addresses they provided, and my funds were gone.

After losing a significant amount of money, I felt devastated and confused. Like many other crypto scam victims, these were the questions that immediately came to my mind: • Is it possible to trace cryptocurrency sent to scammers? • Has anyone actually recovered funds lost to a pig-butchering or crypto investment scam? • Are crypto recovery services or so-called “ethical hackers” legitimate, or are they also scams? • What steps should victims take immediately after realizing they’ve been scammed to avoid further losses?

These are common questions asked by cryptocurrency scam victims across forums like Quora and Reddit. While researching and trying to understand my options, I eventually came across Infiniti Digital Recovery. Based on my personal experience, they assisted in recovering my stolen cryptocurrency without requesting any upfront payment.

I understand that crypto recovery is a sensitive topic and that many so-called recovery services are scams themselves. My intention in sharing this experience is to contribute to the discussion and help other victims understand what questions to ask, what red flags to watch for, and the importance of extreme caution when seeking recovery assistance.

If you’ve been affected by a cryptocurrency investment scam, take time to research thoroughly, avoid anyone guaranteeing results, and never send additional funds without proper verification

Crypto scams have caused immense harm worldwide, especially among older adults who deserve safety and respect. Contact Infinite Digital Recovery to initiate your recovery process.
