Hey everyone,

I am new to this site and have a few questions. I have the July 4th week at the Texas Hill Country Resort. I paid for the timeshare up front, so there is no mortgage on the timeshare. I have read not to pay an upfront fee to get rid of my timeshare. My questions are, is this the best place to sell my timeshare? If so, do they handle the closings? If not, what do I need to do to arrange that? Is there a website or place that will sell my timeshare and just take a commission? That would be ideal. I would like to sell this thing asap, although I know that will be difficult. I just don't know the best way to go about doing this. I'm sorry for the questions, and I am sure they have been answered elsewhere, I am just so confused and don't know what to do or how to begin.

Thank you for your help.

============ Judi Kozlowski - Re/Max Properties handles TS sales by commission. You should be able to "google" her name and her contact info should pop up. She's very knowledgeable in the industry and will give you an honest assessment of your TS.

She has several TS listed for sale via RedWeek. You can also find her contact info from the Rentals & Sales tab. Go to Hawaii/Honolulu and look at ads for any HGVC resort. You should find her name/phone in at least one of them.

There are a few companies that charge no upfront fee. Go to 'search forums' right hand side of this page and enter NO UPFRONT FEE RESALE COMPANIES and yes, as mike mentioned, Judi Kozlowski has one such company ... you can also use the search feature to find more info on Judi's company.

There are a couple of companies that charge a fixed rate such as $1500 if they sell your timeshare .... not sure what Judi charges.
