Exchange use of time share at South Ocean Beach Resort

Can someone exchange property that is under renovation and not usable for another location, such as the Poconos or Disney.

I have in-laws with a time share at South Ocean. Are you an owner as well? Are there any other owners that can update me on the stratus of the resort and if it will ever open again?

I have owned my timeshare since I purchased it from DIVI, that is the reason I DID purchase. This was back in the 90's, it has since gone through at least 5 different owners , "property managers". I can't , SELL, exchange, use it. They have been updating this property for at least 8 years! I call all of the time and hear the same old story, soon,soon!

My husband passed away 3 years ago and he was NEVER even able to stay at his own timeshare!! We were only there the day we looked at it and bought our week!! I actually needed to send a copy of his death certificate! This is CRAZY. I understand that they are working on the Golf Course, but that shouldn't have ANYTHING to do with us staying there or being able to exchange

Does any one have any info about south ocean? I can't even get anyone to answer the phone. have we lost our timeshares and money or will this be a viable resort again? someone has to know something
