I am new to Redweek. As I posted my ad for our timeshare this summer in Hawaii, I noticed there are sooo many timeshares for rent. Has anyone had any luck renting their timeshare in the summer? As the time gets closer and I don't find a renter for my timeshare, can I bank my week? Is there a timeframe in which I have to do this? Thanks for helping me with these questions.

Yes there are thousands of rental listings, so be sure you post your TS rental on other websites. TUG, My Resort Network, Vacation Timeshare Rentals, and bidshares are a few of the more common ones. Some are free and some require a small fee.

Most exchange companies will allow a deposit up to 60-90 days prior to check-in. After that, there may be some limitations. Check with your exchange conpany for their specific policy.

Good Luck

Wow, I didn't realize there were so many other sites. I tried one other site and got a call from a discourteous man that wanted to sell my timeshare! I'll try the other since you recommend them. Thanks for the info. I appreciate it.

Unfortunately, with any web site, you may get solicited from "undesirables". You may get replies from people who are looking to rent to a third party. All replies need to be checked out thoroughly.
