Buying, Renting, and Selling Timeshares

What are all types of costs with buying and carrying resale timeshare points?

Mar 02, 2010

My wife and I attended a Wyndham presentation in Vegas witout buying and am doing research to buy resale points - approx. 180,000. I want to understand all the types of 1X costs associated with buying points and annual carrying costs. Please provide some information. For example, I know I have the actual cost of the points, but are there transfer fees? What about broker fees, title insurance, attorney fees, recording fees, etc., and Wyndham fees? After I buy, is it just basically maintenance fees ( and maybe housekeeping) or should other annual costs be expected?

Thanks

After you buy resale you will pay an annual maintenance fee .... a reputable transfer of ownership company is www.timesharetransfer.com that many knowledgable buyers use .... they handle all the paperwork .... I'm not that familiar with points but I assume the transfer process is the same as a fixed week transfer.
