Wyndham (formally Fairfield) timeshare transfer to daughter

My mother wants to transfer her Wyndham time share to me and my husband. We can more afford the montly fees and enjoy it with her every year anyway. How hard is Wyndham to deal with, and what kind of transfer and closing "fees" should we expect? Anyone had any experience with Wyndham on this?

Wyndham will charge a $125 transfer fee (unless that amount has been increased recently). That transfer fee will NOTbe waived just because it's "intra-family".

Wyndham is very slow in processing ownership changes, but not otherwise particularly difficult to deal with. I suggest you contact Wyndham directly and have them walk you through the process. The main phone number is 1-800-251-8736 then follow the voice prompts to reach title services.
