Silverleaf Resort's Rental Policy

I own a Silverleaf week at their Oak N Spruce Resort in Lee, MA. Have traded it in the past through II when living on the East Coast. Now live in AZ and would like to rent our week (#32 in August) but was told by Silverleaf that we had to check-in those who were renting. Since that is not possible, feel that it is a very restrictive policy. Has anyone else had this situation arise with renting their units (and Silverleaf in particular)? If so, how did you overcome this? Would also be willing to sell the unit since health issues and other life changes prevent vacationing they way we used to. Has RedWeek.com been successful for anyone in their renting and/or resale efforts?

I have never heard of this before ..... if you OWN the week then you can do with it what you wish .... rent it, sell it or give it away !!!! Talk to someone else at Silverleaf.
