Hello everyone,
I am almost completed swapping ownership of a timeshare and am happy about it.
I am coming to believe that selling these timeshares at a loss is painful. As long as you have a 3rd party to handle details you are better off trying to permanently exchange your timeshare with someone else. I have contacted Redweek and asked for a category of this nature and hope we get it soon.
What are your thoughts? What would you like to swap your timeshare for another one?
If you have one in Mexico which is mostly a Right to Use, then you should have the same quality type resort, same type of contract, Annual to Annual, or Biennial to Biennial, etc. or in Points, that is worth 1 week. For example Club Regina Gold Membership for a week is now 50,000 points for a 1 BR/2bath lockout suite. A studio is less, a 2 BR is more. Then you have to consider if your timeshare is Floating or a Fixed week. Thus the permanent exchange would be the same. Get it? If any questions, have Redweek evaluate for you.
