We were trying to sell two timeshares, We paid several thousands $ for number of offers from "we sell your timeshare" guarante money back. We finally sold for so low price, that it was practicaly a giveway. Now we are getting phone calls from "reputable" companies which are offering to recover what we had paid. Just a small fee ijn front. This is another layer of scheemes how to get to timeshare owners. Just be carefull! Karel A Jelinek

Anytime any company asks for an upfront fee, then they're scams. You were lucky that your timeshare was sold at all in this economy ..... most can't even be given away.
