Another federal prosecution is taking aim at timeshare telemarketers in Palm Beach County.
James Michael Tomasso, Wensley Robin McFarlane and Nicholas Charles Higgins conspired to commit wire and mail fraud from boiler rooms in Boynton Beach and Boca Raton, according to a criminal complaint filed Thursday in U.S. District Court in West Palm Beach.
They took fees of more than $3 million for condo timeshare sales they did not deliver, operating under names including Euroamerican Timeshares LLC, E.A.T Sales LLC and National Timeshare Liquidators, the complaint said.
Separately, federal prosecutors in Illinois have reached plea deals with three Palm Beach County timeshare telemarketers in recent months.
