I have my timeshare posted on Redweek. A 3rd party contacted me(Timeshare Rental/Resale Co.) stating he had a renter. Tacked on his fee on top of my charge. Wrote a agreement with my name and the renter.... renter to pay $300.00 to him, then after 7 days my full price paid by renter. Not sure what to do. Hate to be paranoid but......help! thanks

The 3rd party is called a middle man that finds rentals on Redweek. It's not illegal but people could find their own rentals on Redweek and other timeshare rental listing sites saving a middle man fee. Make sure there's an agreement in place signed by all parties.

Thank for your help....Update..... since I was uncertain about using the middle man, and said so..... now the offer is me deal directly w the renter.... collect all monies.... then pay the middle man the difference after the transaction is completed.....I have stated that I will take visa/mc only for payment.
