The first cardinal rule bears repeating as long as there are scam artists out there. Never, ever pay anyone a large, upfront fee to sell, rent out, market, or "cancel" your timeshare.
Secondly, it is important to get an idea what your timeshare is worth on the resale market. Most are worth about $0 right now. Make sure you advertise on reputable sites such as here on RedWeek, E-bay, My Resort Network, or Bidshares.
Be realistic about what price you can fetch. Remember, many timeshares can't even be given away right now. If you want to simply give it away just so you can dump your maintenance fee obligation, then state in your ads that the price is $1 or free.

Westin brand is one of the higher end resorts .... you should be able to get something for it, however it's in Cancun MX and people aren't traveling to Mexico as much as they were pre 2007 due to the economy. You can look at what others are asking here on Redweek and price yours lower and keep dropping the price until you start getting some interest.
