It has been a few weeks since my inquiry and yet the original rental ad is still listed. If it was, in fact, rented shouldn't it have been removed from the redweek listing by now? Are these owners just listing low to get a bigger response to their listing and then trying to get a higher price? Is this kind of listing allowed or are there certain restrictions placed on timeshare owners placing such ads? thanks.
If that particular unit has already been rented then yes the owner should have put a 'rented' sign next to the ad .... it's up to the owner to do that, not Redweek.
Was the rental he offered you for an extra $500 exactly like the one already rented (# bedrooms, # baths, view etc)? If so, it seems that the owner is trying to pull a fast one on you.
