Anyone have any dealings with this bunch? Suspecting I have been scammed, they have a slick website , slick pitch, and claim that Telmex is their client buying up timeshare properties as a tax writeoff...they require wires to a supposed escrow company in puerto Vallarta for "SAT " taxes and Mexican federal taxes, and show you mex govt website that requires these payments prior to sales fund release.

Would appreciate any feedback.

I certainly hope that you haven't sent them (or the MX gov any money) ..... if so, you've been had .... it's a scam.

What exactly is this website?

These scam artists are sure getting slimier and slimier. By the way, even if it were true that the Mexican Government required these taxes to be paid, the payment would come out of the sale of the proceeds. The seller should not and would not pay out of his pocket.

Think about this. If the check is supposedly sitting there waiting for the seller but he can't receive it until these taxes are paid, what would happen to that check (and the timeshare) if the taxes were not paid?

If it is a scam, any idea on legal action that could be taken?
