Buying, Renting, and Selling Timeshares

I would like to sell my timeshare

Apr 03, 2013

I would like to know what are the procedures I need to follow when I process the sale of my timeshare. Looking forward to your response.

If you find a buyer then you'll need to seek a closing company to prepare the paperwork and hold monies in escrow until the transaction is complete .... two reputable closing companies are timesharetransfer.com and JRA services.

Perhaps I can point in the right direction. Do you homework. The Attorney General shut down 5 more companies that are fraudulent in Orlando, FLA.

I assume the poster was referring to someone that was interested in their ad on Redweek .... of course, it goes without saying to never, ever pay a large upfront fee to any timeshare entity to supposedly sell your timeshare .... that's one of the main mantras here on Redweek's forums.

Hi,

It's a very easy process. I have just purchased one through Redweek owning 6 now and I have always used Timeshare Transfer in Vero Beach Fl. The woman there is Joyce. The reassuring part is that the buyer does not exchange any money with you it is all done through the company that does the closing that way they don't feel like they are getting scammed by the seller. Also when you list your cost of the sale price be reasonable, I laugh every time I see a new posting for the Sheraton Vistana Resort and some of the units are going for huge amounts. I own 4 there and have only paid $300 for most of them and I enjoy every part of that resort and could stay in other areas of the phases where I don't have ownership just by exchanging. To sell look at the lower priced units for sale and judge by that, depending on where you own and in what resort. Do your homework and don't expect a lot anymore for the worth of your timeshare there are just too many for sale. I just purchased at Vistana Beach Resort and it cost me in total for the entire transaction $0.00 take it from there.Good Luck.

Yes, www.timesharetransfer.com is a very reputable timeshare closing company however www.timesharetransferS.com is not so be sure to use the one with no S at the end of transfer.

There are some Sheraton resorts below in Bargain Resales but I don't see any at Vistana ..... if you want to merely be in the Sheraton system then one of these others might work for you:
