There's a thread about seven threads down (at the time of this posting) with the title "Nationwide Transfer Ozark". Maybe read that thread.

If you want "to get out of [your] timeshare ASAP", then try selling it or giving it away. It will be a little bit of work and probably a lot of time, but if you're willing to be patient and put in the effort, you can rid yourself of ownership fairly economically.

It's hard to PROVE fraud, because it's what's in your written contract that counts in a court of law .... not the verbal presentation by a timeshare salesperson.

Key words - never, ever pay any entity an upfront fee pertaining to selling or supposedly getting you out of your contract.

Try giving it away as Lance suggested above ..... Redweek has a bargain basement where you can post it. Also, I don't know what you're asking for your timeshare, but in this economy there are thousands of timeshares that are worth zero depending on the brand and timeframe you own.

Besides listing it here on RedWeek, you can try other listing sites such as E-Bay, My Resort Network, Bidshares, Craigslist, or Timeshare Users Group (aka "TUG"; tugbbs.com).

As JJ said, many can not even be given away so you might have to add an incentive for someone to take it such as paying the closing costs and possibly the next maintenance fee. That will work out to a lot less than what Nationwide will likely charge you to allegedly "cancel" your timeshare.
