A more than Year ago a contacted Joana to sell my Timeshare in Mayen Palace, send her a$1000 and than she desapered,so who is going to tell me What is Going on! Bob

I hate to be the one to tell you but your money is gone. We have been telling people for years in here NEVER pay anyone money upfront to rent or sell your timeshare. Anyone wanting money upfront is a scammer. Sorry to be the one to tell you but I hope you learned a lesson.

I'll add further to Don P's comment. You will now be bombarded with phone calls (and perhaps e-mails) from other scam artists because you are now on a "sucker list". There will be many more claiming they can sell your low-value timeshare for tens of thousands of dollars. Don't fall for any more of these.

Also, you will likely be contacted by scam artists (possibly the same people who scammed you in the first place) claiming they can get your money back from "Joanna", the original scam person. This is also a scam so don't fall for this either.
