One suggestion is to check E-bay's completed auctions on MC units to see what they sold for.
Also, I would read up on threads here, Timeshare Users Group (aka "TUG"; tugbbs.com), or ts4ms.com about MC. It appears many owners are disillusioned with it and want out. Hence, that might make its values around zero dollars.
Whatever you do, do not pay anyone a large, upfront fee to sell, rent out, market, or "cancel" your unit. They might give it some euphemisms such as Marketing Analysis Fee, Prepaid Closing Costs, etc. These are usually, if not always, scams.

I would not buy a floating week (dependent on availability only) or a flex week (broken weeks) at the Manhattan due to historical lack of availability when it comes time to book. I would only consider a fixed week where you actually own a certain week there.
AS Lance stated above the best place to find current market value on any timeshare is 'closed timeshare auctions' on Ebay. You have to be a member to view these but it's free to sign up to be a member at Ebay.
