A RTU contract holder is not actually an "owner". RTU stands for "right to use" (there is absolutely no ownership of anything AT ALL; it's essentially just a "membership" merely providing ACCESS to the property, as is the case at virtually all Mexican timeshares).
You should ask the advertiser directly and very specifically whether or not they are overtly guaranteeing that the specific unit listed in their ad is in fact the one that you will occupy. No one here in these forums can possibly know that answer. Some RTU places will assign a specific unit ahead of time (when the reservation is made), but many others will not do so. They can also CHANGE unit assignment anyhow; that is a management prerogative in a RTU "membership" situation where there is no ownership of any interval / unit / week.
