The company in florida that sounds like a scam is Premium TimeShare Depot. Has anyone heard of them??
Yes, they are a orlando based company who deals with rental/resales for timeshares. Anything that is RCI exchangeable and some II properties as well. Been in business for a few years and have tons of experience in former real estate related companies pertainting to target-marketing presentations etc. More then capable of handling the one-time rental, multilple trentals, possibly even resale depending on Fair Market Value analysis.Locally owned and operated and here to help.

I too was contacted by Premium Timeshare Depot. I pray on us Timeshare owners. When we bought this luxury we probably thought we would always use it,but our situation has changed. I am comtemplating doing business with PTD. But I cannot find any information from the local BBB. Can we keep eachother updated? I think this is the only way to see if these transactions are posible and safe. Thank you,
They have no open complaints, reports or current invetsigations pending.

The right people if your considering rental or resale. And, such is possible if your property is marketed correctly. Its the maketing that gets any product sold boat, car, house, you name it. If your property is not visible to the right buyer or renter you will be unsuccessful. It also must be presented correctly face to face, the same way it was sold to you.

If any company asks for an upfront fee to sell or rent your timeshare, then they're scams, period

these companies seem to find everyone who ownes a timeshare, and they use the numbers game i.e there will always be a certain percentage of timeshare owners who thru many circumstances cannot maintain nor want their units, and they make an offer to take it off their hands at a substantial loss from the original purchase price. its very simple, these are bottem feeders

I purchased a split biennial timeshare at the Manhattan Club in 2008. I have 3 nights in RCI points and 4 nights at the club every other year. I have not been using my 4 nights at the club ( a waste I know!!) and was considering converting them to points. Has anyone had any experience with this? I was told to speak to the sales team at the Manhattan Club but am reluctant to do so. Thanks.
