We are so glad to have responde regarding petition to Attorney General of Florida. We sent certify letter to VP of this CO one week ago with request for return recept, but did nt get anything back yet. Hope, we can have more people to sign, So far, there are two Puerto Vallarta resorts are reffering people to Royal Marketing Group. We also called our visa and they will start investigation about "Life time membership" what this Company claiming. PS. we sent email there, but no one bother to answear. Good luck to us all

We were also given this information from Mayan Palace. I do not think you sould use the Royal Marketing Group. the Royalvacationclub.com does not run. If you call them they place you on hold for a long period of time (20-40 minutes.) I have left messages and no one has returned my calls. Save your frustration, there is a lot of negative information on the web about this company and other companies that John Smith ownes

Actually, Sarah( do not know her last name responded. We fax her the letter of complane. Also, we requested to withhold the payment of 500+ for the "life time membership". Maybe, this was the reason she called. We have no choice. they have our 12weeks and our 12k. with was charged on our visa. So, Good luck to us.

Would you please explain why they have 12 weeks of yours? To whom and what was the payment of 12k for (if this is not too personal). I would hate to see anyone lose that much. Didn't you purchase weeks from a developer? What part does RM play in your scenario? RM is only supposed to rent your weeks for you. If you paid them that much, I would work on the charge company to reverse the charges if it isn't too late. Did you use AMEX for any part of the sale? They always go to bat for the customer. As a matter of fact, anyone in this forum should first twist the arm of the charge company if it is within 60 days or so. For me, it was too late when I got wise- that was 3 years ago.

Here is some helpful information in regards to the Royal Marketing Group, also known as Resort International marketing Corp.(RIM).
Please not: following information was copied directly from an actual lawsuit “Class Action Fraud and Racketeering Lawsuit Filed Against Mayan Resorts"
Defendant Resort International Marketing Corp. (RIM) is a Florida corporation with its principle place of business in Florida. It handles times rental and resale for timeshare owners. It operates the website vactionweeks.com and also known as "Vacation Weeks". The BBB gives RIM an "F", its lowest grade, indicating that the Bureau "strongly questions the company's reliability for reasons such as that have failed to respond to complaints, their advertising is glossily misleading, they are not in compliance with law's licensing or registration requirements, their complaints contain especially serious allegations, or the company's industry is known for its fraudulent business.

I hope it helps.
Good Luck

not realy, in order to buy the resort, they gave us extra weeks which we agreed not to use. instead- reffered us to Royal. so they will rent it out and we will get this money to pay for the purchase of the Playa Del Sol weeks. We were very stupid to agreed to charge the credit card 12K, so in 60days we will get this money to pay. We are not stupid, but this was exactly so. Maybe, we were under kind of gipnosis? I never sign anything with out see it in writting, well. this time we did. But we will try to get some result, because we are not alone. A lot of trusty and naive folks like us falling in this trap

What will happen when the weeks are not rented? Must you pay the maintenance? Did you buy 12 weeks to be used anytime, over a given period of time? If I were you, I'd tell the charge company that the merchant involved is known to operate an illegal telemarketing scheme, and the Attorney General of Florida is and has been investigating them. Beg them to reverse the charge and call the resort, telling them you changed your mind about the membership-remember; they are not part of the same corporation- they are just in "bed together". Resorts International Marketing/Royal Marketing are one in the same, and have gotten quite practiced at their thievery. I see how they are getting more and more out of people. This is serious, and you should "fight nail, tooth and hammer."

Everyone who has had dealings with either Resorts International Marketing (vacationweeks.com) or Royal Marketing should by now realize that they have lost their money. If it happened recently, you may have a chance of claiming your investment.
Contact the Attorney General in Florida by going to the website I provided in a prior message. When you calling them on the phone, it is important to document along with all letters, e-mails, etc.
These people need to be stopped and made to account for their crimes. That doesn't mean that the Developers in Mexico are innocent. They have been promoting them for several years.
If you are new to this particular topic in the forum, read all of the messages from the beginning. Some of them are off-base, but there is a common thread here-FRAUD.

EVERYBODY:
IF YOU PAID WITH A VISA OR MASTERCARD, ASK YOUR CARD COMPANY TO REFUND YOUR MONEY. YOU ARE PAYING THE CARD COMPANY TO FIGHT FOR YOU. I GOT MY $300 BACK FROM VISA, NO QUESTIONS ASKED. The Royal Marketing Group is a fraud. Visa/Mastercard will protect you. Request a refund for services NOT RENDERED!
