Are the pools heated?

I spoke to someone directly at the resort toanswer my own question. Yes, the outdoor pools are heated. :)

At the management briefing yesterday, we were told that earlier this year the heat for one of the two outdoor pools at Marriott Surf Watch had been turned off as a trial for energy conservation. However, they reported it has been turned back on. Actually, many the people here with me are complaining that the pool is too hot. Paradoxically, they also report that the hot tub is too cold.
