Brian, This time of year is usually excellent. You could check the park city forum to see the latest discussions on snow conditions and forecasts. Many years there is sufficient snow to ski into May so it should be fine. Nice part is that the crowds have dwindled by late april. Jack

Actually, There isn't any skiiing to be had after the second week of April in Park City. All the resorts are generally closed by this time, and those that are still open [located in the Cottonwood Canyons] are only open during the weekend. It's spring skiing, so the snow will usually be very...wet, like water skiing or mashed potatoes. You can usually get some really good deals with occommodations. If you are looking for a budget as far as ski weeks, buy a silver week at Mountainside, and reserve the first week of the silver season every year or the last week of the silver season, as the last is always the opening week of both Park City Mountain Resort and the Canyon's ski resort.
