Shelling

I will have a chance to go to Tropical Sands and have never been this 4th of July week. I noticed the beach is accross the street. I know this area is noted for great shelling. How is the beach accross the street? And, is there a view from the balcony of the units of the ocean? Thanks

There is a bit of a "lagoon" which must first be crossed before you actually reach the "beach". I recommend that you wear something on your feet while doing so. Once "out there", yes it's a fine beach.

In a single word, no. A large high rise across the street on Estero Blvd blocks most visual access to the Gulf.
