Hotel del Sur

What is the recommended means of transportation from SJO Airport to the Hotel del Sur, as well as touring to and from the hotel? Are there any precautions that we should take to insure that our one week vacation will be relatively enjoyable and trouble free? Any suggestions and/or tips would be greatly appreciated.
